Some comments on Nietzsche I wrote elsewhere that are relevant to this essay I guess:

When Nietzsche said God is dead due to the rise of science, he only announced the death of the Biblical God and Western religion. The underlying metaphysics of the East is that God is the very order and structure of this universe. Not some transcendent authority that is separate from this world, but the very intelligence that permeates it. So Nietzsche brilliantly foretold the rise of Eastern spirituality in the West a hundred years earlier. And it is only increasing in influence. Even in popular culture, the biggest movies such as Star Wars and Avatar are firmly grounded in Eastern spirituality.

Nietzsche also had correctly warned against today's woke identity politics that wants to drag the society down to the lowest common denominator with the unnatural imposition of the idea of equality.... instead of each individual pursuing his unique excellence which is the essence of the ubermensch idea, not immorally dominating the rest though it's easy to misread in that manner.
